Heartbeat of the Week – Evyn Schaffer

Evyn, an LBS1 teacher at Miner School, is a catalyst for eternal energy and enthusiasm for teaching. When creating experiences for her students, Evyn is masterful with creative lesson planning. She incorporates students’ goals and learning targets into experiences that mirror those of gen ed peers. Conveniently, many of her students happen to have the same pop culture interests as she does. Evyn has been 100% committed since her first day stepping into a classroom at NSSEO and has not stopped impacting the narrative of her classroom.
