Volunteers
"Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it."
- Marian Wright Edelman
We are seeking volunteers at NSSEO to support students in their classrooms and schools to reach their goals and dreams for a promising future. By volunteering at NSSEO you will make a meaningful contribution to our community that will enhance student outcomes.
Our work with students requires many hands and many skills. Opportunities to touch the lives of children, parents, and staff are available through a variety of activities and require a range of time commitments and talents. You need not have experience in education or with students with disabilities. You may choose to work with primary, intermediate, or secondary/post secondary students; or you may prefer to work in areas that have no contact with students at all.
For more information about volunteering at NSSEO, contact:

We will discuss open volunteer opportunities with you to help match your qualifications and interests with NSSEO’s current needs. In addition to a general orientation, you will receive on the job training from staff members and a NSSEO leader.
