NSSEO Heartbeat of the Week – Kim Cowles

“Kim Cowles, Benefits Administrative Assistant for HR, is extremely proficient in her role. She makes sure all staff have the information they need to make important decisions to choose their healthcare. She advocates for staff when they need help and is always ready with a timely answer to any complex question. During this pandemic, Kim has worked tirelessly to make sure our health insurance is in place and up to date for all staff. Additionally, she has been on the ground floor creating a very active website that is a “one-stop-shop” for everyone’s questions regarding staff wellness. Not only is Kim a valuable asset for our NSSEO staff, but she is also one we can always count on at Central Office to stop what she is doing to jump right into another project that needs immediate attention. We are very fortunate to have her supporting us during these challenging times!”
